CYLINDER HEAD REBUILD (Machining & Parts not included)

Disassembly
1. Inspect previous cam timing.
2. Check valve and decompression clearance.
3. Remove cam carrier and shims.
4. Inspect camshaft, gear, buckets, rocker points and chain.
5. Remove cylinder head.
6. Vacuum check and report.
7. Dissemble cylinder head.
8. Soda blast cylinder head and clean.
9. Inspect seats, valves, guides, threads and flatness.
Cylinder Head Machining
1. Standard Valve job. Performance Valve Job optional.
2. Seat Replace. If requested.
3. Beryllium/Copper Seats, if requested.
4. Guide replacement (if needed); OEM/Bronze
5. Lap fire face.
6. Final clean head.
7. Replace Valves, Springs and Seals.
8. Confirm valve to seat placement.
9. Assembly.
Cylinder Head and Cam Installation
1. Install new head gasket.
2. Install cylinder head.
3. Install shims and check clearances.
4. Set cam timing.
5. Install valve cover and new spark plug.
6. Return engine after 10 hours to recheck valve clearance.

2. Verify cam timing.
3. Check valve lash.

1. Adjust lash (Shims are additional cost).
PISTON CHANGE Four Stroke / Two Stroke (parts not included)
Disassembly
1. Remove tank and head.
2. Remove the cylinder mounting bolts and cylinder.
3. Remove the piston.
4. Inspect the cylinder bore, measure and report to customer.
5. Flex hone the bore if the bore is usable.
6. Inspect the connecting rod small end I.D.
7. Measure the rod end clearance, if possible.
Assembly
1. Install new cylinder bore gasket.
2. Measure piston and bore to ensure factory clearances.
3. Check ring end clearance.
4. Install new piston, rings, pin and clips.
5. Install bore, new head gasket and cylinder head.
6. Install new spark plug.
7. Customer to follow engine break in procedures.
